Abstract: The present work addresses the obtaining of anoxic water, focusing on establishing the necessary criteria for the development of a custom deaerator for the company Owntec. The objective is to research and test efficient methods of water deaeration, establishing suitable parameters through laboratory tests. The research took place throughout 2023 at Owntec - Engineering Solutions, located within the Tecnounisc - Scientific and Technological Park and Itunisc - UNISC Technological Incubator, located on the UNISC Campus, in Santa Cruz do Sul – RS, which specializes in the development of solutions for Geotechnics, including Static Triaxial equipment. In this study, different methods were explored, involving an analysis of water deaeration models available in the market, considering both laboratory application and previously proposed methods. To achieve the objectives, the methodology employed included applied research for the study and comparison of different water deaeration methods, and the analysis of results obtained through experimental tests. The results indicated that specific methods, such as ultrasound + vacuum, showed an efficacy of 70.41% in reducing dissolved oxygen, compared to other commercially available methods such as agitator + vacuum, which presented 36.43% efficacy.</summary>

Abstract: The following study deals with the development of a project for the adaptation of an off-road vehicle of the baja type, originally with two-wheel drive system, in a vehicle where there is the possibility, through a coupling mechanism with control accessible to the driver inside the car, of the use of 4- wheel drive. With this the pilot can choose the system that makes the prototype more effective in the transposition of obstacles. Providing more traction with the coupled system in order to transpose low friction terrain such as mud, gravel or loose boulders on slopes or for specific tensile tests. Not impairing performance in tests where agility in maneuvers becomes something essential, being able to perform the same with the uncoupled system.</summary>

Authors: Cunha, Mauricio A. S.
Abstract: The fierce industrial competition drives firms to require machines with higher efficiency and lower cost pegged, so the plant maintenance is very important factor to help companies to reach significant and satisfactory results. This paper seeks to address the industrial maintenance to reduce their maintenance costs, based on the verification and explanation of items involved and the effective planning of their tasks, aiming at higher availability of the machines in the production process with controlled spending. Experimentally, it was approached the filter manufacturing sector in tobacco company of Santa Cruz do Sul, as initial results, we have reduced the cost of corrective maintenance by almost 50% and consumables 18%, checking that maintenance costs with greater impact by changing maintenance plans by entering predictive technique and service indicator to measure the results.</summary>

Abstract: The welding is a manufacturing process that aims to join two or more parts, maintaining the physical and chemical properties of the material. However, in practice this does not occur immutability therefore will always have some kind of change generated by concentrating residual stress. The work monitored various welding processes, and sought alternatives that allow relief of the stresses arising, reducing or avoiding the possibility of the appearance of discontinuities that could possibly being caused. The tests showed that some of the remaining welding stress relief processes can improve the performance of welded material as its ductility and the maximum tensile strength that the material can support before breaking in its plastic state, it was possible to determine the relief control more effective for certain types of welding. Among the types of actions tested in this study, the pounding process proved to be the best result of mechanical and relief control at high temperatures, relative to thermal processes.</summary>
