Escola livre de arte : ART.

Title: Escola livre de arte : ART.
Authors: Müller, Daniele Andressa
Abstract: Art is, by its essence, a powerful form of human expression and a transformative instrument of social realities. However, access to it in Brazil is still unequal, influenced by regional, social, and other factors. According to data from the "Sistema de Informações e Indicadores Culturais" (SIIC) of IBGE, referring to the period from 2011 to 2022, inequalities in access to cultural facilities limit the experience of art, especially due to the lack of spaces dedicated to artistic education, restricting it for everyone, regardless of their social class. Santa Cruz do Sul, a central city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with great cultural potential, lacks educational spaces dedicated to art. Despite its cultural traditions and significant events, the city does not have the infrastructure to meet the growing demand for artistic training. The proposal to create a Free School of Arts emerges as a solution to this gap, aiming to offer art education and an environment of expression, belonging, and reflection for its citizens. Much more than a learning space, it is intended to be a meeting point for different voices and cultures, promoting the development of citizens who are aware of their cultural identity and of the transformative role of art in society, contributing to the cultural strengthening of the city.

Title: Victória : complexo cultural cinematográfico.
Authors: Reis, Fernanda Cristine
Abstract: The following work was developed in the course Work of Course in Architecture and Urbanism I, in the Architecture and Urbanism program at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC). It addresses the importance of preserving and valuing historical and cultural heritage for the city and its inhabitants, as well as the positive impact that contact with the arts and culture has on human life. The main focus is on cinematographic culture, an artistic expression that has gained prominence in recent years in Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. The research aims to support the need to promote the valorization of cinema in the city through the revitalization of an old space originally dedicated to film screenings, which is currently abandoned, with the goal of promoting access to art and strengthening the community's connection to its history and local culture.

Title: Terapia cognitivo-comportamental para transtornos alimentares : bulimia nervosa e anorexia nervosa.
Authors: Mello, Ana Greice dos Santos
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the treatment of eating disorders (EDs), with a particular focus on bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa. The research adopted a qualitative approach, reviewing recent studies to evaluate the outcomes of CBT. The methodology included data analysis from academic articles published in the last five years, retrieved from virtual databases such as Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS), Scielo, the CAPES Journal Portal, and the Virtual Health Library - Psychology Brazil (BVS Psicologia). The results indicated that CBT offers an effective approach for modifying dysfunctional thought patterns in patients with EDs. The research highlighted the importance of continuing to explore psychological interventions like CBT, expanding therapeutic possibilities for eating disorders. Finally, the results achieved the proposed objectives by demonstrating the effectiveness of CBT in treating these disorders, contributing to the deepening of scientific knowledge about effective therapeutic interventions for modifying dysfunctional cognitive patterns in patients with anorexia and bulimia nervosa.

Title: Entre o tatame e a mente : os aspectos psicológicos de atletas amadores de Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Authors: Mello, Isabella Nunes
Abstract: Competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), even at amateur level, poses psychological challenges that require in-depth investigation. The study aimed to investigate the relationship between competitive BJJ practice and psychological aspects of amateur athletes, identifing the main psychological effects, and analyzing contributions from psychology in this context. The research used a mixed approach, applying the Sport Anxiety Scale-2 (SAS-2 – Smith et al., 2006) together with open-ended qualitative questions. Data collection occurred through social media and, after acceptance, completion of an online form. The final sample consisted of 87 amateur athletes, distributed across eight states in Brazil, divided into age groups ranging from 18 to 54 years old. The results indicated higher levels of anxiety among younger participants, while athletes aged 40 and over demonstrated greater resilience in relation to competition, despite the pressure. It is suggested that Sports Psychology (SP) is a crucial tool to assist in managing anxiety, restructuring the perception of failure, and building self-confidence in a competitive environment. Thus, SP proves to be not only a support, but an indispensable strategic pillar for optimizing performance and ensuring mental health, transforming stress into excellence on the mat.
