O bullying no ambiente escolar : um estudo comparativo entre uma escola estadual e outra particular de Vera Cruz - RS.

Abstract

Bullying generates many disorders in the lives of those who suffer this violence, as well as their families. The present descriptive exploratory study aims to verify if there is a difference between the behavior related to bullying between students of a state school and another one in the city of Vera Cruz-RS. The subjects of this study were 169 students of both sexes, being 113 students of the state school and 56 students of the particular one. A questionnaire with 21 questions was applied among students from the 6th to 9th grade to collect information. Statistical analysis of the results was performed in the SPSS 23.0 program. The physical and verbal aggressions were the most evident, and in the private school the percentage of students who have already suffered bullying obtained a higher rate than in the state school. The most cited place where the violence occurs is recreation with the private school having the highest rate of aggression. As for the most cited aggressors, they are roommates, followed by the option of older students. It is concluded from this study that a high rate of students has already suffered some form of violence at school.
