Bullying, agressores e vítimas escolares : uma comparação entre escolas da rede estadual e municipal de Paraíso do Sul - RS.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and compare the aggressive profile of students attending a public school and a state in the municipality of Paraíso do Sul - RS. Are subjects of descriptive exploratory study, 136 students from 6th to 9th year. A questionnaire was used to identify cases of aggressive behavior in school. This study found that 52.2% of students have been assaulted at least once in school, particularly among boys (56.2%). Among girls, 47.6% had experienced some form of aggression. The data show that almost all students have suffered some kind of aggression, and for boys, the kind of aggression that occurs more is "not talk to me" (17.8%). For girls, the aggression that happens more often is "not talk to me" (22.2%). This study shows that the places where the attacks occur, for boys (24.7%) In the classroom, and for girls, with (27.0%) in the hallways and stairs. However, most of the answers is to "nobody beat me" (26.5%). The case of sex offenders, can be seen that the children confirm that (23.3%) of offenders are boys and girls, and the girls report that (28.6%) of offenders are boys. Most men and women responded that no one beat them (26.5%). In terms of comparison between state and municipal school, there is a high percentage of students who have been assaulted at least once in school (52.2%), mainly in the municipal school (52.9%). When asked if "in your house spoken for having assaulted someone?" On state school (33.8%) parents spoke, and municipal school most of the answers is divided between "yes, talked" and "did not speak" (26 , 5%). When they were questioned about how they were beaten in the state school most students responded that no one messed with them (20.6%), in the municipal school most of the answers was "made me other things" (22.1% ). About where the attacks occur, (29.4%) of the state school, said that "no one beat me," and state school, most of the answers were "no one beat me" (23.5%). When asked who beat them in the state school most of the answers is "no one beat me" (29.4%). In public school responses are divided with the same percentage (23.5%) to "no one attacked me" and "a boy". Analyzing the results of this study, it can be concluded that cases of violence are very present both state school and municipal. The violence is increasingly common due to the lack of dialogue between parents, students, teachers and guidance on the subject of bullying. The school should be considered a transmitting values and knowledge, which will take throughout life, we prevent the bullying cycle in the school context, initiatives in the area should seek to respond to the challenges and overcome this problem. It is important to involve various social factors and various sectors of society to install public policies that seek to foster values and attitudes of peace and healthy living.
