This master thesis aims to investigate and understand how the undergraduate students in the Physics course of the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC) are building their epistemological conceptions, analyzing the tensions between knowledge-regulation and knowledge-emancipation. For this purpose, we sought to identify and understand the influences of the memories of the subjects' educational experiences in the creation of their epistemologies and, consequently, in the pedagogical praxis. The study has a qualitative descriptive aspect, being a case study using the focal group technique composed of six undergraduate students. The methodological process consists of understanding the different philosophical currents and in the historical discussion about science, as well as in the statement of grounds of the key understandings of this study: 1) epistemology, 2) knowledge-regulation and knowledge-emancipation; 3) epistemic memories. In order to have a relation to the statement of grounds, a literature review was carried out to map the works that approached the theme of this research. The process also included the data collection through semi-structured interviews, observations recorded in Field Diary, memorial and exploration of documents. Finally, the data interpretation was carried out by using content analysis as a tool, structuring categories and subcategories. The results indicate that the subjects organize their epistemological conceptions from their experiences in the course, but it is evident that the construction of them occurs during their entire educational path. The graduation course in Physics provides different moments that contribute to the creation of epistemological conceptions focused on the construction of knowledge-emancipation and on the innovation of the pedagogical praxis of the Physics teacher, but not without tensions with the knowledge regulation. The undergraduate students are also influenced by their epistemic memories and by the dominant paradigms of Science; that is why, it is important to consider the possibility of the reconstruction of resistance practices, in the constant search for innovation of the teaching-learning processes. From this viewpoint, such reflections contribute to emancipatory educational processes during the teacher training of these teachers and physics teachers, in other words, the prominence of knowledge-emancipation over the knowledge-regulation.pt_BR
