O jornalismo investigativo em jornais diários do Vale do Rio Pardo.

Abstract

This monograph proposes identifying if and how the newspapers Gazeta do Sul and Folha do Mate do investigative journalism, based on four reports. For that, the newsgathering of investigative reports is discussed based on the investigative journalism features, relationship with sources and differences between investigative journalism and daily journalism, based on authors like Cleofe Monteiro de Sequeira (2005), Leandro Fortes (2005), Percival de Souza (2002) and Solano Nascimento (2010). During the study, bibliographic research, documentary research, in-depth interview and focus group were applied as methodology procedures. With the data collected, it was possible to aproximate the practice with the concepts mentioned in the theoretical approach. It was verified that only the reports published by Gazeta do Sul are considerated investigatives. Adversities that turn the making of investigatives reports from country towns in something hard were noticed. However, it was concluded that professionais do try to work by the concept of investigative journalism. Although in a contrary context, the investigate journalism is present at Vale do Rio Pardo.
