Redes organizacionais como alternativa para gestão hospitalar : estudo de caso da associação dos hospitais do Vale do Rio Pardo.

Abstract

Hospitals were born of the noble spirit of caring for those in need, for centuries the mission play solution to be curative and preventive health care for their city and region. Given its importance, its losses have been funded with many difficulties, and especially with the evolution of technology, became heavy structures, complex and costly. This study aimed through a literature review and interviews with hospital managers, institutional understanding of the history of the Hospitals and Philanthropic Community, how these organizations interact with their region, its challenges and its relational assets, especially the members of the Syndicate of Hospitals Charitable, Religious and Charitable Vale do Rio Pardo. The aim was to identify the main benefits of the Union as a model network, the sustainability of organizations and development assistance to the population as well as the benefits of organizational networks, through its theoretical precepts and vision of its top executives. In addition were also analyzed the economic, social and environmental strategies of hospital networks, logistics alternatives that may qualify the hospital care in the region with a more rational management, identifying the bottlenecks that could be eliminated with the dynamic network. The results show that organizations are struggling alone to fulfill its mission fragile and poorly integrated forces that need to be shared, to win his greatest adversity. In conclusion, we propose a method of funding hospital activity for future studies, which also strengthen the links between the regional institutions, with the network using basic research and prevention as a primary strategy.
