Data do documento: 2022
Resumo em outro idioma: In this research we propose the interpretation of Lourenço Mutarelli's literature by reading three novels of the author: O cheiro do ralo (2002), O grifo de Abdera (2015) e O filho mais velho de Deus e/ou Livro IV (2018). Our proposal is to build a dialogue between the literary work and the theories that subsist our interpretation and apprehension of the relevant elements that make up Mutarelli's aesthetic and thematic. We start, especially, from the recurrent marks of the presence of the abject, the grotesque and the mundane in your literary narratives. This dissertation begins with a brief introduction and/or by entering the hole in which we discuss the research problems and hypotheses that moved us before and during the work. In this introduction we also present elements such as our conceptions of literature, as well as, we briefly introduce the three researched narratives. Furthermore, we present the justifications and objectives that sustain this work. The research is organized and structured in two large chapters. The first chapter and its three sections seek to understand the Mutarellian bodies and subjects. The first section of this chapter highlights the body in its sociological approach. Authors such as Arthur Frank (2001), Elizabeth Grosz (2015) and David Le Breton (2007), among others, are placed in dialogue with Mutarelli's work. The second section of this chapter is dedicated to discussing abjection and its relations to literature. Julia Kristeva ( 1988), Márcio Selligman-Silva (2005), and Wellington Ramos (2019) are present in the discussion. The third section closes the chapter by dealing with the grotesque body and its relationship to grotesque realism, departing especially on Mikhail Bakhtin (1987). In the second chapter of the work the Mutarellian subject is placed in its relation to the world. The first section of this chapter deals with unrest in culture, especially from Sigmund Freud's (2020). The second section deals with the contemporary context to which this subject and Mutarelli's literature are submitted. Fredric Jameson (1997), Gilles Lipovetsky (2004), Jean Baudrillard (1991), Slavoj Zizek (2002), among others, are discussed. The chapter closes by looking at the contemporary scenario of Brazilian literature and the demand and resurgence of realisms. Beatriz Resende (2008), Karl Erik Schøllhammer (2009), Denílson Lopes (2012), Renato Cordeiro Gomes (2012) are discussed in this section. This dissertation ends with the final considerations in which reflections and propositions of interpretations of Lourenço Mutarelli's literature are presented.
