dc.description.abstractThis article analyzes the current legislation regarding juvenile delinquents and compares it with the practice of the Socio-Educational Assistance Foundation of Rio Grande do Sul (FASE/RS). The objective is to assess the effectiveness of the socio educational measure of internment in the reintegration of young offenders. The research also examines the gaps between existing regulations and the implementation of socio-educational measures, as well as proposes reforms and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of these measures. The methodology used is documentary analysis of statistical and historical data. The article also addresses the figure of the young offender, the delinquent act, and the characteristics of adolescence.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoEste artigo analisa a legislação vigente sobre crianças e adolescentes infratores e a compara com a prática da Fundação de Atendimento Socioeducativo do Rio Grande do Sul (FASE/RS). O objetivo é verificar se a medida socioeducativa de internação é efetiva na reinserção de jovens infratores. A pesquisa também examina as lacunas entre as normas existentes e a implementação de medidas socioeducativas, bem como propõe reformas e estratégias para melhorar a efetividade dessas medidas. A metodologia utilizada é a análise documental de dados estatísticos e históricos. O artigo também aborda a figura do jovem infrator, o ato delinquente e as características da adolescência.pt_BR
