Abstract: Personal development and teamwork are extremely important for the company's success. It is known that dealing with people is not an easy task, and in a work environment it is an even more complex mission. Workers who get along well are more motivated and can more easily achieve the company's goals. The objective of this study had as research factors people management, personal development and teamwork, motivation and the role of leadership aiming at better results in functional performance in individuals who work at CFC Venâncio Aires. The research method used was the bibliographic study in the area of people management and then, using as a research instrument, a questionnaire was applied to the company's employees to proceed with the analysis of the data in a quantitative way, being that the answers were organized and consolidated in the form of tables. The main results evidenced are in relation to demotivation and stress at work impairing the performance of the group. Likewise, the lack of possibility of growth within the company and problems in teamwork are factors that influence the achievement of the company's objectives and goals. In this way, the organization needs to develop strategies and create an action plan in order to involve the entire team in the search for the solution of the presented problems, aiming at the continuous improvement of the work environment, in the achievement of goals and in the success of the company.</description>

Abstract: Companies continually seek to improve the process, as they are faced with a scenario that requires cost reduction and quality assurance. In this way, the work aims to apply quality tools in the production process of plastic packaging, seeking to minimize non-conformities. The applications of quality tools were carried out throughout the productive sector. For this, the three problems with the highest incidence of non-conformities were identified. The following tools were used: Check Sheet, Cause and Effect Diagram and 5W2H. They made it possible to understand the process and identify the root cause of the problem, enabling the execution of an action plan, as well as the reduction of non-conformities, the improvement of internal rates and cost &#xD;
reduction.</description>
