Title: O uso da causa animal como estratégia discursiva no Instagram : um estudo de caso no contexto da enchente de 2024 em Venâncio Aires.
Authors: Pereira, Évelin Samara Raupp
Abstract: This study aims to analyze, based on Discourse Analysis, the publications of councilwoman Alessandra Ludwig on Instagram during the critical period of the flood in Venâncio Aires (RS), between April 30 and May 30, 2024. The research seeks to understand how the animal cause was used as a discursive strategy for political engagement and social mobilization, highlighting the role of digital communication in the construction of the public image of the parliamentarian in this context. Through the qualitative analysis of the posts, the main themes related to the defense of animal rights, the discursive resources, such as emotional appeals, persuasive language and visual elements, as well as the mechanisms of interaction and public engagement, measured by likes, comments and shares, were identified. The results demonstrate that the councilwoman articulated the animal agenda in a strategic way to strengthen her political legitimacy, expanding her visibility and connection with the population during the emergency period. The research also highlights how the use of social media has become an essential tool for contemporary political communication, allowing for more direct and immediate dialogue between leaders and citizens, especially in situations that require rapid and effective social mobilization. In this way, the work contributes to the understanding of the influence of digital media on local politics, highlighting the potential of the animal cause as a vector of engagement and political capital in contexts of social vulnerability.

Authors: Fuelber, Gabriel
Abstract: This Course Completion Work proposes an analysis of Brazilian fans' perception of the streaming broadcast of the Qatar 2022 Football World Cup by Cazé TV on the YouTube platform. The research understands how technological convergence and interactivity are evolving according to new football developments, offering a different experience to that offered to viewers by traditional TV. To achieve this objective, several methodological resources were used, including bibliographical research, exploratory research, focus groups and content analysis. These methods and techniques allowed an investigation into how technology is influencing the way professionals broadcast matches and fans who follow football. The theoretical foundation was based on authors such as Coelho (2003), Kalsing (2021), Soares (1994), Helmond (2019) and Revoredo (2017), who discuss the evolution of journalistic practices and the impact of new technologies on communication. Based on this basic construction, this qualitative research focused on a focus group, carried out with seven Brazilian fans from the Vale do Rio Pardo region, in Rio Grande do Sul, for a detailed analysis of their interactions and experiences during live partnerships carried out by Cazé TV in 2022. The results indicate that fans value the interactivity and participation provided by streaming subsidies, considering them superior to traditional ones (open or closed TV) in terms of engagement and user experience. However, challenges related to transmission quality and the technological infrastructure required to ensure an interference-free experience were also identified. It is concluded that the transmission of sporting events via streaming, exemplified by the success of Cazé TV on YouTube, represents an important innovation in sports journalism, enhancing
spectator participation and redefining the way sports content is consumed.

Title: Jornalismo pós-industrial : uma análise da monetização de conteúdo em podcasts.
Authors: Silva, Bianca da
Abstract: This research aims to analyze the monetization of content used by podcast producers. Once this format is relatively new in the communication field and there is little research on the topic, there was a need to understand the revenue generation process for this product. In order to understand the strategies used, the researcher studied the podcasts Modus Operandi, Rádio Escafandro and Mamilos. For two months, all materials and topics released by empirical objects on digital platforms were monitored. From this it is possible to understand the methods used and their relationship with journalism. Finally, based on a critical analysis, it was sought to outline the consequences that these systems can have on journalism and business
sustainability. As a result, based on extensive observation, it appears that these mechanisms can represent a new phase in making journalism viable, in addition to providing greater editorial freedom.
