Authors: Gomes, Vanessa Moniquelli Abstract: The aim of this cross-sectional study to investigate the association between hypertension with anthropometric indicators in adolescents. The sample consists of 102 adolescents, 55 male, aged 12 to 16 years living in the city of Venancio Aires-RS. The nutritional status was assessed by body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (WC). Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic (DBP) were evaluated according to the Brazilian Hypertension Guidelines. The data were analyzed with SPSS v. 20.0. The comparison between the classification of the SBP and DBP with the classification of BMI and WC shows that students with changes in SBP (borderline/hypertension) have higher frequency of overweight/obesity (p=0.009) and high WC (p<0.001) compared to teens with normal blood pressure. The change in DBP was associated only with the presence of high WC (p=0.026). In addition, there is a direct correlation between the variables, ie, the higher the weight, BMI and WC school, higher SBP and DBP levels also (p <0.05). It is emphasized that the change in PAS is explained in 20.4% by weight and 26.5% by BMI. We conclude that blood pressure levels are associated with the evaluated anthropometric indicators, especially systolic blood pressure. Authors: Oliveira, Vanessa Graciele de Abstract: Nowadays, issues related to violence are increasingly in evidence, and the school environment the ideal place to discuss this. In this sense, the present study aims to determine whether there is a difference between behavior related to bullying among students of a state school and other city in the City of Sun-RS Valley. The subjects were 230 students of both genders, 118 students of the state school and 112 students in the city. To collect the information, we used a questionnaire with 21 questions. The statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 program. In the results, a rate considered high students who have suffered some type of aggression in schools has been identified. Regarding the conduct of the pupils of the two schools, it is very similar in almost every issue, and the public school obtained results a little more frequent in relation to these abuses. Verbal attacks are the most frequently mentioned by students of the two schools, and the most frequently mentioned perpetrators are older students, followed by the option of classmates. It was concluded that the relationship of conduct for students from both schools is very similar in almost every issue, but the public school got a little more frequently results in relation to these abuses. Authors: Batista, Naluã Paranhos da Silva Abstract: Este estudio descriptivo y exploratorio tiene como objetivo verificar si hay un comportamiento relacionado con el acoso en la escuela del sexto, séptimo, octavo y noveno grado de educación básica en una escuela de en la ciudad de Vera Cruz - RS. Los temas son 132 estudiantes, con 72 varones y 60 mujeres, con el grupo de edad 11-17 años. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó una investigación individual, a través de un cuestionario (Olweus, 1993), adaptada por Mayer (2000). Se realizó el análisis estadístico con SPSS programa v. 20.0. Los resultados muestran que hay un alto porcentaje de los estudiantes que ya han sufrido alguna agresión (31,8%).La principal forma de asalto fue la agresión verbal y física (8,3%). La recreación (16,7%) y la clase (7,6%) responsable de la agresión entre son donde se producen la mayoría de los asaltos. En cuanto al agresor, 9,8% reportó estar en la misma del ano, pero en otra clase y quiénes son los atacantes había una diferencia significativas de género, es un muchacho (7,6%) o responsable de la agresión género hombres una chica (6,1%) entre las mujeres . A través de este estudio, se puede observar que la mayoría de los entrevistados no sufrió ningún tipo de agresión; sin embargo, hubo informes de agresión en la escuela y es necesario que haya mayor atención y comprensión del tema intimidación ya sea por los profesores, los padres y la sociedad en general. Authors: Blank, Jonatan Ismael Abstract: Objective: To compare the levels of physical fitness and health of adolescents aged 13 to 15 years in state schools in Vera Cruz and Santa Cruz do Sul, RS. Method: were evaluated 129 adolescents from public schools of the municipalities, applied the weight and height tests to assess BMI, flexibility (test sit and reach), cardiorespiratory fitness (running / 6 min walk) and abdominal resistance in 1 minute classified according to the cutoff points established by the Project Sport Brazil. All analyzes were performed using SPSS v program. 20.0, considering the significant differences at p <0.05. Results: it was found that the BMI among boys differed between municipalities (p = 0.046), and higher among students of Vera Cruz. Other health indicators are similar between both municipalities.
